The second Shandong CIO Think Tank Anniversary Celebration and Informatization and Industrialization Integration Development Summit was held in Laiwu City, Shandong Province from April 21 to 22, 2017. This meeting was guided by the Shandong Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission, co hosted by the Shandong Provincial Center for the Promotion of Integration of Industrialization and Information Technology and the Laiwu Municipal Economic and Information Technology Commission, and co organized by Guangzhou SiE Information Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as SiE). Wu Shuhua, Vice Mayor of Laiwu City, Zhao Shuling, Deputy Inspector of the Shandong Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission, leaders of the Shandong Provincial Center for the Integration of Industrialization and Information Technology, and more than 300 CIOs, CEOs, and information technology leaders from over 200 enterprises in Shandong Province attended the meeting.
This meeting was presided over by Director Zhang Kaili from the Shandong Provincial Center for the Integration of Two Modernizations. At the beginning of the meeting, Director Zhang introduced the attendees and agenda to everyone. Vice Mayor Wu Shuhua of Laiwu City and Deputy Inspector Zhao Shuling of the Shandong Provincial Commission of Economy and Information Technology delivered speeches to the conference, respectively. They gave a brief report and outlook on the integration of two modernizations in Shandong Province, and wished the conference a complete success.
Afterwards, Mr. Liu Guohua, Vice President of SiE Information Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a speech at the conference. Mr. Liu stated that he graduated from a university in Shandong and grew up in Shandong during the most important years of his consulting period, with a strong affection for Shandong; Shandong is a major province in both economy and culture, with a profound cultural heritage. Referring to Confucius' saying 'those who know are not confused, those who are kind are not worried, and those who are brave are not afraid', we hope that SiE can provide constructive suggestions for the informatization of Shandong enterprises and contribute to the integration of the two industries in Shandong Province. As the co organizer of this conference, SiE has carefully prepared solutions and experience sharing in intelligent manufacturing for the guests. Firstly, Mr. Peng Sungang, Director of SiE Intelligent Factory Department, delivered a keynote speech titled "The Path of Transformation for Traditional Enterprises towards Intelligent Manufacturing". He sorted out the problems encountered in the production and operation process of the enterprise, proposed to drive information construction with business transformation, respond quickly with information technology, support higher development of the enterprise with data-driven decision-making, and comprehensively utilize the latest Internet of Things technology Mobile internet technology and industrial big data processing technology integrate numerous customized automation equipment with standardized information management platforms, conducting research and workflow optimization on the architecture, production planning and scheduling, workshop production organization, material flow, warehousing, and quality system of manufacturing execution systems, and demonstrating and promoting their application to users in the production and manufacturing industry, Thus establishing an intelligent factory based on industrial big data and the internet. At the same time, multiple successful application cases of SiE MES products were presented, and the project implementation effects were analyzed one by one from the perspectives of supply collaboration, comprehensive quality, intelligent logistics, intelligent production, workshop management functions, central monitoring, and mobile convenient applications.
Mr. Diao Jizhou, Director of SiE Supply Chain Department, conducted a "Lean Logistics WMS Warehouse Management Plan Sharing" for this summit. Mr. Diao Jizhou first gave a brief introduction to SiE and Infor, then introduced the functional characteristics and basic logic of Infor WMS products, and introduced the innovative points of relevant functional modules one by one. Infor WMS inherits the best products and has undergone continuous improvement, spanning eight major industries in China. It has been proven by the industry, recognized by users, and become a leader in the industry. SiE has been a core implementation partner of Infor since 2012. During these five years of cooperation, SiE has successfully collaborated to implement and deliver multiple WMS projects, and has received praise from customers. SiE also hopes to take this opportunity to provide lean logistics and warehousing management solutions for Shandong enterprises. Pengsun Gang and Mr. Diao Jizhou have received recognition from numerous guests for their wonderful performances, and they have consulted at the SiE booth.
